ALANGKAH RENDAHNYA MARTABAT B.M..

Pada awal minggu ini, kami telah menerima satu notis daripada pihak pengurusan berkenaan
m/pelajaran Bahasa Malaysia. M/pelajaran BM akan menghadapi perubahan di mana para pelajar
boleh memohon pengecualian drp mengambil m/p BM (tidak perlu ambil). Menurut notis ini pelajar
yg mendapat kredit (BM) dlm SPM atau lulus dlm STPM boleh memohon pengecualian ini.. Lihatlah betapa rendahnya martabat BAHASA MALAYSIA...

Selama ini, walaupun BM tidak menjadi bahasa pengantar di IPTS ia merupakan satu m/p wajib yg
perlu diambil oleh pelajar utk "grad". Ini merupakan satu "requirement" dr pihak kementerian sendiri..

Setakat ini arahan ini hanyalah untuk pelajar tempatan.. Mungkin pada masa akan datang pelajar
warga asing pula tidak perlu mengambil BM.

Apa yg mengejutkan arahan ini tidak akan dikeluarkan melainkan jika tidak mendapat kelulusan
pihak kementerian....(Siapa lagi jika tidak Mahazalim dan anjing2 nya)..menerusi Lembaga
Akreditasi Negara. ~C.I.A REFORMASI

Bahasa Malaysia Requirement For All Bachelors Degree Students.
 
Exemption by the National Accreditation Board(NAB):

This is to inform all students that the NAB has issued a new amendment
to the Bahasa Malaysia(BM) language requirement beginning 1st January
1999. Students who possessthe following are now exempted from the
university s BM requirements:
        1) Credit in BM at the SPM level; or
        2) Full pass at the STPM level.

University s advice to students:

The current BM course (PBM1010 ­ Bahasa Malaysia)  run by the university
is of 2 credit hours and the new course prescribed by the NAB to be
conducted beginning the new academic session 1999/2000 in May this year
is of 3 credit hours. Students who do not have the BM qualification
mentioned in 1 & 2 above and who are currently registered in the course
are advised to complete the course. On the other hand, students who
possess the BM qualifications and who are currently registered in the
university s BM course are advised to withdraw from the course
immediately and then apply for exemption in the next academic session.
Students are given until February10th 1999 to drop the said course at
Admission and Record Division.

Proviso:  Implementation of this new policy as stipulated by NAB will be
immediately enforced but is subject to final written confirmation from
the NAB.
